ADETEF and Latin America
Social cohesion was defined as one of the main strategic priorities for the cooperation between Europe and Latin America during the EU – Latin America and Caribbean Summit of Heads of States and Governments, held in Guadalajara (Mexico) in 2004.
Today, approximatively 40% of the EU aid allocated towards this region is destined to projects aimed at contributing to the improvement of social cohesion in Latin-American societies.
